Unless you’re an Italian football boffin, you likely won’t have heard of Silvio Piola. He’s the leading Serie A scorer of all time with 274 goals in 537 appearances for Pro Vercelli, Lazio, Juventus and Novara. In second place is a more notable name, AS Roma’s one club man Francesco Totti managed 250 goals in 619 games. Third place is held by a relatively unknown Swede by the name of Gunnar Nordahl, his incredible 225 goals in 291 games is fairly special.
How many goals has Cristiano Ronaldo scored in Serie A?
As of the end of the 2020-21 season, the legendary CR7 has managed to score 80+ Serie A goals over just three seasons at Juventus. It’s actually 100+ for him at the club in total. Not too shabby.
